Happy Holidays!

by Kimbrough

Yesterday, I took down all the Fall decor, organized it and tucked it away. It’s time to bring out the Christmas stuff!

I tend to change up my Christmas decor as the month goes on, adding greenery and other flourishes as I find or make them. So I start out clean and simple. The first item I pulled out was this tomato cage “tree.”

Right now, it’s just a rusty tomato cage strung with lights. I might eventually add a topper.

Next, I dressed up my table. I love this wooden tray that my Dad made to go with my table!

I added simple hurricane vases, an old Bundt cake pan, some pears and silver candle holders.

I put some Nandina berries in one vase and a plain white pillar candle in the other.

The last bit of holiday decor that I have put out is this trio of grapevine
wreaths.

I added some burlap ribbon and some bundles of Rosemary sprigs. I really want to make a wreath out of Magnolia. If I do that, I will move these somewhere else.

It’s a start! I’m really excited to get into the thick of the Christmas season. My next step is to get our tree up and the mantel decorated.

I LOVE the tomato cage tree AND the grapevine wreaths! I'm definitely going to add those to my to-do list. I went a little burlap crazy myself and just posted the pics on my blog http://ashleyapplewhite.com/budget-friendly-diy-rustic-holiday-decor/. I will be checking in to see if you do the magnolia wreath! :)
