How to make the best the best Margaritas:

Start with fresh ingredients! This recipe calls for fresh cucumber and fresh limes. Don’t skimp on that part.

Also, use the best tequila you can afford. I like to use silver tequila in Margaritas. My preferred brands are Espolòn Blanco and Patron silver.

Finally, keep the ideal ratio for this sweet and sour cocktail. I roughly use 1.5 ounces of tequila, 1 ounce of lime juice and 1/2 ounce of orange liqueur or simple syrup for a classic Margarita. I mixed that up a little for these Raspberry Lemonade Cucumber Margaritas. Natalie’s Raspberry Lemonade adds just enough tartness to make this cocktail ZING!

How do you make Raspberry Lemonade Cucumber Margaritas?

This is not your average margarita recipe. I made these gorgeous beverages with Natalie’s Raspberry Lemonade, simple syrup, cucumber juice and fresh squeezed lime juice. You can make the cucumber juice and simple syrup ahead of time and have them chilling out in the fridge.

Simple syrup is just a  mixture made from heating equal parts water and sugar together until they are completely combined. I keep a batch in my fridge all the time for sweetening tea and making cocktails. The cucumber juice is simply cucumber blended with a tiny bit of water until it is smooth.

I am fan of batch cocktails, so I created this recipe with that in mind. It makes about 6 to 8 cocktails at once. Invite a few friends over and share the goodness!
