If Margaritas are high on your list of favorite cocktails, then this Golden Margarita recipe NEEDS to be the next margarita you make.
A good Margarita is one of my favorite cocktails of all time. I take mine on the rocks with salt, please. I like the classic lime flavor of this tart drink, but I also love to experiment with other flavors as well. That’s how this Golden Margarita was born.
My hubby and I went to lunch recently and I tried a Golden Paloma, a Paloma made with regular grapefruit juice instead of the usual pink grapefruit. It was amazing! So, I thought, why not try to make a margarita with a similar flavor profile?
This tasty cocktail combines grapefruit juice, orange juice, lime juice and little simple syrup and tequila. I rimmed the glasses with a special salt made by Beautiful Briny Sea. This salt called Friends Forever is a mix of sea salt and honey. I found it to be the perfect rimming salt for this tart cocktail.
The Golden Margarita is guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser. It pairs really well with my Bacon Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers, too. So give it a try and let me know what you think in the comments.
